Explore the nature and strengths of magnetic fields of solenoids and permanent magnets with this robust sensor.
There are two Hall Effect devices in the Sensor, placed at right angles to each other. This enables fields along the axis of the Magnetic Field sensor (the axial field) or at right angles to it (the radial field) to be measured.
Available in two versions ±10mT and a higher ±100mT.
This ±10 mT range sensor is normally the one most suitable for measuring magnetic fields around the strength of permanent magnets and electromagnets used in schools.
This high range sensor (±100 mT) allows for the measurement of strong magnetic fields around permanent magnets and electromagnets.
