Voltage sensors are used to measure the potential energy across any electrical component for both d.c. and low-voltage a.c. circuits. Using a sensor means you can not only take spot measurements but also lets you monitor voltage over a fast, short or long period of time.
The SmartQ range of Voltage sensors includes 0-10V, +/-1V, +/-12V and +/-20V variations to suit your experiment needs.
The sensors leads have 4 mm plugs attached that will plug into most school based power supplies and available electricity kits.
For lower voltages there is a ±1 V sensor available. For both positive and negative voltages there are a ±12 or 20 V sensor available.
