Order No. 1145
The Wireless Sound Level Sensor is specifically designed to give a deep insight for sound-based measurements. You may, for example, wish to show how sound travels through air, or what is it that makes up a musical note.
Highly adaptable, this sensor combines physics, acoustics, and environmental studies in a single highly mobile package.
Accurately measuring sound pressure level in decibels (dB) or waveform (mV), measurements can be in the dBA (normal human ear) or the dBC range suiting low and high frequency sound levels.

The Sound Sensor is extremely easy to set up, reducing time – so you can focus on the science. Tough and very adaptable, acoustics and environmental studies and the link between them become immediately accessible.
You can take the classroom to the outside world! The sensor helps convert everyday activities into physics and statistics.
Designed to be used across the physical science disciplines, it is an ideal platform to introduce, or extend, the advantages of data logging, data storage and analysis.
Made to be very much “hands on”, encourages students to think about the experimental design philosophy and how the data is generated.
The sensor works in harmony with other Data Harvest products, allowing multi-disciplinary studies to be made.
The Smart Wireless Sound Sensor is compact and user-friendly, making it perfect for hands-on experiments.
When connected to EasySense software, the sensor becomes active, displaying data in real-time and enabling easy comparison of results.
It's both USB and Bluetooth compatible, allowing seamless connections to various devices like mobile phones, tablets, laptops, and desktop computers.
