Order No. 3175
This dual range Sound Level Sensor accurately measures either sound pressure level in decibels (dBA) or waveform (mV). The sensor has been designed to approximate the normal human ear in the range and intensity that it 'hears' sounds.
A selection of products that may compliment the Sound Level Sensor.
Level The Sound Level Sensor has a sufficiently fast response to allow for the measurement of speed of sound in air or solids (using 2 sensors) and to capture waveforms. It is equally responsive to all sound frequencies within its range and can measure both transient and continuous noise.
Electret microphone has a broad frequency response of 100 Hz to 7 kHz. The microphone capsule is positioned in the end cap of the Sensor. The Sound Sensor is not waterproof.
