This sensor is extremely responsive as it features an exposed thermistor. The thermistor wires are covered by highly flexible heat-shrink tubing.

Ideal for recording temperatures from low grade heat sources, changes in skin temperature or for measuring air temperature in tight or confined spaces.
This sensor is not water, acid or alkali resistant, if this is required use the standard Temperature Sensor with thermistor tube.
This Temperature sensor is not recommended for use with laboratory chemicals.
The SmartQ range provides 3 different temperature sensors depending on teh application:
Normal Sensor: The thermistor wires are covered by highly flexible heat-shrink tubing. This makes the Sensor suitable for measuring temperature in a confined space or attached to the body for physiology experiments.
K-Type: The wide temperature range of this sensor enables it to be used in experiments that generate very high or low temperatures (-200 to 1,000°C).
